: STAGE MANAGER We are now actively looking for a dynamic, organized and experienced stage manager for the 2011 London Community Players production of THE DUCHESS OF MALFI directed by Bernard Hopkins. Here are the vitals:
Executive Produced by The London Community Players. Produced and Designed by Jordan Morris and the Sighthound Production Company. Several other respected artists from London's local community will be involved to create the many costumes, props and set design all visualized by Mr. Hopkins himself. * For amateur status artists, this will be an extremely unique opportunity to work alongside one of the most celebrated and experienced theatre scholars and performers of recent history. During the rehearsal process several workshops will be organized that will be be instructed by other Startford Festival company members on subjects such as voice, neutral mask and movement. It's always a fascinating process and we are lucky enough to have some of the industry's absolute best share their magic with our team! We are also tackling one of the most exciting and difficult scripts from any period and will be performing an adaptation written by Mr. Hopkins himself. It will be a show and an experience like none other. Come join us! Our first rehearsal and workshop has been scheduled for Tuesday, October 12 from 7PM to 10PM.
